Pet Your Bacon PorkDid you know if you pet your pigs the bacon tastes better? We love our animals and appreciate the sacrifice they make so we can have nutritious food on the table. That is why we raise our animals in the most natural and caring ways possible. Our pigs get rotated through different parts of our land so they can eat natural foods and lessen their impact on erosion and runoff. While moving through the pastures and woods our pigs run around looking for roots, leaves, fruit, nuts, insects and occasionally small animals like snakes and frogs. They enjoy plenty of room to roam, sunshine, and fresh forage. In addition to the natural foods they find themselves, they receive daily rations of a balanced, all-natural, local, non-GMO grain. And yes, we do pet them on the bacon!
